Working With EIM

A major factor in the success of the EIM project management approach is the Triangular Relationship between the Client, the EIM Interim Manager and the EIM Counsellor. This is the foundation for a dynamic process which follows predetermined ground rules for the control and implementation of the project, leading to a successful conclusion and handover.

A Team and a Network

Every EIM office enjoys permanent contacts with a network of potential and practising Interim Managers representing a whole set of managerial skills and sectorial experiences, thus ensuring that EIM can meet every client's specific needs on an international as well as a local level.  Some of them choose to continue their career in the field of interim management and regularly take part in EIM workshops, where they share their experiences of different management issues.  This core team of managers provides EIM with the advantages of :

  • Speed of response to a client's needs
  • The reliability of well-qualified and trusted personnel, having real expertise in managing situations of change and transition
  • In-depth knowledge of an individual's skills and qualities, ensuring the selection of the person best suited to the assignment.

The EIM Interim Managers

EIM Interim Managers are experienced high calibre executives, representing all functions of a company : CEO, MD, CFO, Human Resources, Operational Management, Supply Chain Management, MIS, Marketing and Sales Management.  Often they are over-qualified for the specific assignment, thus guaranteeing rapid results with reduced risk.

The typical profile of an EIM Interim manager :

  • Senior management level, generally with over 25 years of professional experience
  • Established track record in change management or company turnaround
  • Hands-on style, energetic, with high leadership and interpersonal skills.

The EIM Consuellor

The EIM Counsellors work alongside the Client and the Interim Manager, to ensure the success of the assignment. Each EIM Counsellor is a senior executive, with previous experience as a General Manager or a CEO, together with a consulting background.

They analyse the client's objectives and needs, and select the right managers for a particular situation. They monitor progress through a regular review process and provide a link into EIM's fund of shared knowledge. They ensure that an on-going plan for future action is set in place at the end of the EIM assignment.

Altogether, the worldwide team of EIM Counsellors represents an exceptional resource of shared knowledge and accumulated experience in the management of projects and change situations.
